French President Emmanuel Macron plans to award multi-year grants for several U.S.-based scientists to relocate to France, his office said on Monday on the eve of a climate summit hosted by the president to raise finances to counter global warming.
The Sh-thead-in-Chief and his gang of thugs are having their effect.
I'm insanely jealous.
Unless Whelan lurks here, you guess is probably high. We did, however, just get our Christmas card from one of the PYTHIA prime contributors listed on Wiki, so we got that going for us.Tech is cute, but pure science is boner city.
Here is the paper, which literally only one person on the Cafe will understand. Here is the synopsis for us mere mortals. Here is an explanation of barns which is fascinating. A nanobarn is real small. Note there is a related unit called the outhouse. Nerd humor.

Speaking of which, there have been many papers submitted for publication by CERN scientists who were not careful enough about their auto-correct, so the papers refer to, well, not the Large Hadron Collider.Tech is cute, but pure science is boner city.
didn't the cummins truck have a 100 mile range? Tesla claims 500 and ability to charge to a 400 mile range in 30 minutes.
Absolutely not. I won't go into specifics, because I won't touch proprietary info with a 10 foot pole, but we will be matching if not exceeding Tesla at time of release.

But here's an interesting article that may have some squirming. Recent technologies in phone pay have been taking off. Paying for nearly everything with your phone...and leaving you're wallet at home. The result is much better more aggregated information about your purchasing habits. That's naturally leading to proliferating and morphing 'credit' scores. Especially in China. With a better score, you can get much more lenient terms...and in some cases, better prices. These new credit scores have a social element to them as well. Back all that up with facial recognition and...well you get the idea.
