Probably a degenerate gambler.

the brown bird was just some stupid loud gull stealing the particle accelerator so it could level its TV stand.

I love the subthread that the victim is a paid actor and it's a conspiracy to get us to give up our freedumbs.

I have only just discovered this, but perhaps it is something in the direction I have been dreaming of an "Internet with the Stupidity Removed."

The idea would be a trusted source system where the information was by and for smart people. Stupid people would still be able to be users -- how you ever gonna get smart? But no stupid source material would be linked to.

Essentially, 99.99% of public sources of information would be eliminated. What would remain would be peer-view submissions, articles provided by legitimate news outlets that also passed a board review process, in effect, a true Universal College maintained by the smart for the benefit of all.

Obviously no advertising or commerce of any type would be permitted as it is by definition stupid, so it would be maintained by volunteerism, subscription, and donations.

Basically, an entire internet that began at the very minimum with the Wikipedia standard but aspired to be the highest academic peer review standard. 100% accessible, 100% transparent.
