Start of second period in Elmira...and hey look! what a suprise! Elmira gets a goal about 1:10 into the period and goes up 4-0 on the Pioneers.... **** it! its over! :(

Utica Takes Evan Smith out and puts in Nick Therrien......(who we should have had in there in the first place!) still 4-0 Elmira

I've seen/heard too many close games between the Ice Knights and Mustangs in Mo'ville to think this one is a gimme for Geneseo. Morrisville always plays them tough at home and it will probably come down to the end.

Josh Taylor scores and Hobart and Manhattanville are all tied up at 1-1. its mid way through the second period.......

Taylor Vince scores off the face-off for Morrisville with 2 min left in the 2nd

There will be no more easy games for teams when they play Morrisville. THe Mustangs proved last year they are ready to play with everyone. Expect them to do very well this year!!

End of Second period at the Domes.

Elmira 4
Utica 0

Pioneers pulled goalie Evan Smith at about the 2:30 mark of the second period and goalie Nick therrien is now playing for Utica...He seems to be doing well having not given up a goal yet for the Pioneers against this strong Elmira team. Having lost both of those games to Oswego St., I guess Oswego is pretty good this season. The pioneers seemed to be picking up the game and controlling it more torwards the end of the period, getting a lot of shots etc... but still have nothing to show for it. At this point, a goal would be very nice to have and probably make alot of UC fans happy.
