Final 3- 1 Geneseo. Not a bad loss,(imo) didn't want that big of a winning streak heading into the playoff's.

Lakers streak ends 3-1...rather lose when you can live to play another day...the real season starts now.

An absolutely amazing regular season ends for Oswego with a disappointing 3-1 loss at Geneseo, a place has given them lots of trouble over the years.

Props to the Knights for a huge effort with nothing to play for due to probation.

So let the people who say its a good thing to not have an 22-game winning streak into the postseason and getting a loss out of the way now come out. I don't believe that, but it's about getting a 5-game streak going starting next Saturday night in the Campus Center.

Great season - Lakers. Now go get us some hardware.

Agree, rather it happen now then in the playoffs. Hopefully this will get their heads out of their butts and they will bring it for the playoffs. I don't think it was smart of Gosek to play KGT for both games as it appeared he just wasn't focused.

Hats off to Geneseo. Great win for the team considering the hand they were dealt a couple weeks ago. The title belt will remain in the SUNY until next season!

Geneseo 5-0-1 since being eliminated from the playoffs, including a home victory against Oswego (where the Lakers have dominated the Ice Knights - it's been four years since Geneseo beat Oswego at home). Did not see that coming.

Losses happen. Not too often you see teams go undefeated that long. Geneseo was playing their last game of the season. Hats off to them. Echo the sentiment. Better now than anytime after now.

Westfield State and Salem State played to a 2-2 draw (recap)

Fitchburg State beat Worcester State 5-3 on senior day. Kevin McCready had a hat trick for the Falcons (boxscore).

Plymouth State beats Framingham State 8-5 (boxscore)
