Elmira's got the Pool B.
Oswego gets a pool C.

Utica, Neumann, Castleton for the other two pool C bids. and frankly i still like the pioneers over castleton.

Personally, I'm rooting for Salem State... :)

I was thinking the same thing, but I haven't gone back to look at the numbers again.

Just home from the 'Stone.

Congrats to Coach Coghlin, the staff and players on the Peters Cup.

A good, tight game as the score would indicate. UWS did a good job shutting down SNC offensively, especially in the second period, but couldn't generate much offense themselves.

UWS's best chance (until the end) was a shorthanded breakaway in the third, but O'Brien stopped it. Jackets made it interesting with the extra-attacker goal but really didn't get a good chance to tie it up.

Nice point. Superior is the only one in the mix. right??? But, if you do that, how does the West compare to the East? If Adrian wins, you could send them to Elmira in the quarters, and then have Superior go to Hamline in the West opening round with the winner going to SNC.

That does give the West a (long) shot at two teams @ Ridder without putting the screws to St. Norbert.

It's late, I have to do my oldest son's taxes tomorrow and then drive 8 hrs back to MD. So, I will leave it to the experts to see if you made a Superior argument.

As much as I'd like to see two west teams in the final four, there is no chance a west team will get a pool c. NO CHANCE.

Haven't seen a summary here of the game on here, but I wanted to really give a lot of accolades to Babson and the way they played tonight. They gave the Cadets everything they could, and ultimately the previously somewhat underachieving Mr. Thomas took the team on his back and scored two goals on outstanding individual efforts. The kid has great talent and he showed it.

Testa is a fine goalie and kept the Beavers in the game.
Parker Carroll was great in the OT. I was a lot nervous watching Babson's scoring chances in OT happen right in front of me, but Carroll handled them very well. What a great game.

And THAT'S why Kyle Thomas should be an All American.....(even though he's not eligible)

I have to agree. Kyle was the winner for Norwich tonight.:D

You beat me to it, NUProf. That was the best game I have seen at Kreitzberg ever and is a very close second to the NCAA finals last year in Lake Placid. It is a shame that Babson won't get an at large bid, they played tournament quality hockey this weekend. I was also impressed with how clean the game was on both sides, excellent defense without cheap shots and body slamming in excess. I'm glad Parker Carroll had a super game but agreed with the all tournament goalie selection. Testa was unbelievable. My thanks to both teams for a wonderfully entertaining and suspenseful evening. Go Cadets!

Should it lose tomorrow, Adrian is the only team out here with anything resembling a chance, and it's probably not much of one.

Looks like a very expensive box of tissues...even Walmart prices would be too high

And more importantly: if they do, will Mr. Dunning be in attendance, or will Mr. Crosby find an excuse to leave him in Northfield? :D
