Big late rally by Utica falls short. Problems with discipline plague the Lakers late, but they manage to hold on for their sixth straight W.

They get the Not So Little Ponies next weeken by Lake Ontario when Morrisville comes to town.

Oswego will steamroll Morrisville next weekend. Plattsburgh took it to the Little Ponies with a line-up missing some pretty big names.

Augsburg breaks their three game scoring drought and leads st Thomas 3-0 going into the 3rd.

The refs are being overly strict about contact after the whistle and have given put a few coincidentals for huggy-kissy after the whistle, and finally gave an Augsburg player a major and ejection for what i believe was called roughing (huh? Didn't seem worth it to me, but I was across the rink). Augsburg killed it off right before the period ended though.

After 2, SNC leads 2-0 over UWSP. SOG are roughly 24-13 in favor of SNC

St Thomas gets on the board 3:56 into the third on a delayed penalty. Extra forward brought the puck into the slot and sniped a shot just under the crossbar.

St Thomas makes it interesting with 4:24 to go. Shot went wide left ofthe net, goalie slid over to block the post bt the puck went off the boards and out to the right where it was pushed into the mostly empty net.

Timely Augsburg. 3-2 is the score

Time out St Thomas with 56.2 left, faceoff in the augsburg end.

The tommies come out with their net empty.

And they almost forgot to put out an extra attacker, oops.

The tommies tie it up immediately offthe faceoff, 53.7 remaining. Augsburg won the faceoff, lost possession immediately, and it was punched into the net.

And to overtime we go
