Ugly third period....I still have to wonder how you can stop the play because an opponents stick is jammed in your helmet yet no penalty...I guess they are allowed there now....

I dont know whats more funny....
A. For the entire 3rd period Williams would put up two shots on goal (sometimes 3) for Williams. This after adding 5 mysterious SOG after the 2nd.
B. Attendance 1025?!?!? I think the same person who did shots counted the people coming in.
Now the game...Plattsburgh more then dominated for 40 minutes. However Purdy gave Williams a chance and they capitalized. That team simply had the heart to ..well tie...but you had to applaud the effort by Williams especially only dressing 15 players (fwd and def). Not sure how much
Plattsburgh lost it as much as Williams really just pushed and pushed.
PSU 1: They gave the goal to AJ but not sure if Moony got a stick on it. Just trickled behind Purdy.
PSU 2: Roytman faked the shot then dragged the puck and sent a rocket that I dont think Purdy even saw.
WIL 1: Great shot I dont think Chewy really had a chance on
WIL 2: Escaping me right now...
PSU 3: Craig with a great effort from his knees
WIL 3: Big scramble in the front of the net. Chewy made the initial save but the puck pinballed around and right onto the Williams stick. Chewy made the attempt but could get there in time.

...ok looked up a few SUNY games and even non-SUNYAC at a SUNY rink they have the 4 on the ice..
Funny stuff.........looked at the box and noticed that they used the 2ref,2lines system and this wasnt a SUNYAC game?? or is it that all games at a SUNY rink they use the 4 ref/line system?? Maybe this is y we had the pens...maybe not

I would say nothing would change now after Oswego beat a good Utica team and Platty tied. You may see first place votes end up in Oswego's and Platty's corner but that's about it.

The Utica-Oz game was great last night. Utica took too many penalties in short and could have the game but was undisciplined as usual. The reason we beat the Lakers earlier in the season was because we didn't take nearly as many penalties and shut down the Lakers Powerplay thus resulting in shutting down their Offense for the most part.
For anyone who was there at the game like me, should agree that 2 goals Utica just ****ed up on in plain english, should have never have gone in. Our goalie just wasn't playing his best and made simple mistakes.
Campus Center was nice (and so were the state police inside the arena) But seemed really small compared to the Utica AUD. Maybe it was because i was sitting in the first row of the Campus Center??
Your fans need to learn how to chant though and not steal ours....that was embarrassing a tad bit

Its still around, but the student section wasn't there to say it, it was hockey night so we had a ton of kids from all the local hockey teams there. It was much "cleaner" than I'm used to

I will probably keep it the same. I was going to move Plattsburgh ahead of Oswego because of the way Plattsburgh has been playing lately, but their tie against Williams killed that idea.
I see no reason to bump Norwich out of the top spot for a loss against a decent team coming after what must have been a huge emotional letdown after the Fenway game, and they still only have one loss, and it's not like they suddenly are playing worse than Oswego or Plattsburgh.
