As for the actual issue, DeSantis isn’t stupid. He knows where he sent them. He knows who lives there. That lawyers stepping up to fight him will only help him. What he knows is this stirs up the base, and that’s what he needs to have any chance at winning the 2024 GOP presidential primary. What he thinks he knows is Biden’s administration won’t publicly do anything about it. The average American will cede DeSantis plenty of time to pivot from the fuckwit we know him as to the centrist the media will sell him as. He’s Trump 2.0, only (apparently) smarter, savvier, and more polished…

What gets me is every conservative thinks immigration is some godammed crisis, but they never have solutions (just like the rest of their platforms).
If immigration is such a problem, then why is the penalty for crossing the border into the US illegally the equivalent of being issued a fu**ing parking ticket, released into the US, and only needing to appear in court in three months? Why isn't there a push by conservatives to detain these people? Have speedier trials? Because it's a problem they don't WANT to have a solution for.

Immigration has never been a crisis, but the cowards in white sheets have never been about reality. Fear mongering, slippery slopes, pointing left when they should be looking right, and whining like little bitches while never once offering up any policies other than cutting taxes for the rich. Whalers has the intellect of a step-stool and anyone trying to reason with that knuckle-dragger is wasting their time.
If it wasn’t a crisis they should have let them stay on MV. You can’t say we don’t want them here but you have to have them where you live. MV has significantly more resources than some godforsaken town in Texas or Arizona. The Dems have lost all credibility on this issue.

Yeah guys, don't you know the bigger a house is the more it is magically suited to process and hold a lot of people. Much more than an actual processing facility. Pure square footage automatically means a structure it has everything it needs to do to handle and move through a lot of people.
