Re: Sacred Heart @ RPI, Sat October 19th

End of the second period with RPI up 4-1 but not a sterling period for us. Just a bit of sloppy defense to allow the goal against. Seems like that pair of defensemen need to communicate a bit more.

Re: Sacred Heart @ RPI, Sat October 19th

You have to give SHU credit, they are being totally out played, but they keep on coming.
How about that Haggerty guy.

Watching the replay of the SHU goal, Dolan lost the edge. No one was on the forward, though. Not sure you can totally blame the kids, although LeBœuf was in the same area as a forward, Dolan was certainly the man on the left side; not much you can do about that one.

Bringing back some memories from a long time ago. have not had that kind of goal scoring since Polacek-but reminds me more of Carter and guys like Tapper and Brinkworth and Knightley. Quick release and picking great spots for his shots. He showed a lot of this potential last year but seemed snake bit as many shots hit posts or got tipped just wide. He may just be leading the country in goals as of right now and we haven't been able to say that often.

Saw 11 lose the edge-but where was 3? Just too far away from the crease to be doing any good when his partner was heading into the corner to check the man with the puck. Just sayin-they have to work as a pair and communicate and know where their partner is on the ice. Did similar things against BC and BU the last 2 games. i am sure SA has seen this and it will be corrected.

I wonder if we will see Soffer for part of the third.

Would love to see him get about 10 minutes out there just in case. i think Diebold has shown enough and can be counted on-now we need a little view of the new backup.

Me too, but I wouldn't expect it unless we get up by at least one more goal.
