Reports suggest that Russian commanders are demanding a standard bribe of a month's salary – 100,000 rubles ($1,100) – to allow their men go on leave. Those without money or connections are spending months fighting on the front line without being rotated or rested.

Gotta be great for morale and unit cohesion.

  • Australia will transfer 30 Bushmaster armored personnel carriers to Ukraine.
  • Norwegian government has said it will quadruple military aid to Ukraine this year, from a planned 2.5 billion kroner to 10 billion (nearly $1 billion). The Norwegians will also allocate additional funds to the NATO Support Fund for Ukraine.
  • France to send long-range missiles to Ukraine

Yes, and Russia foaming at the mouth and everyone ignoring the kiddie table.

Putin's hope is the GOP and Dump in 2024. They have nothing to rely on now except rightwing treason in the West. We are going to see 1000x the effort at misinformation and election stealing. I hope to god the Dems are ready to play hard ball this time.
