True, but we don't need to flip the comparison, just as long as they keep losing comparisons to other teams. Like Alaska. Right?

No, You need to flip comparisons with teams directly. We lose the comparison to Alaska anyway, so that doesn't matter. Put it this way, RPI wants all of the teams directly above them to lose while RPI keeps winning. Ideally, you'd like RPI to win out and then if they don't win the ECAC final four, would want Q, Harvard and Yale/Cornell in there with them, and beat at least one of them.

FWIW, the crowd of 8500+ (or 6500 if you read the Times Union post) was about a 60-40 split in RPI's favor.
