RPI vs. UAF 10/17/09 (Brice Alaska Goal Rush)

Re: RPI vs. UAF 10/17/09 (Brice Alaska Goal Rush)

what stupid tournament rules

why don't they just do a normal tournament with the winners of the first night playing the second night

Re: RPI vs. UAF 10/17/09 (Brice Alaska Goal Rush)

I'm a little unclear on why the shootout's needed - didn't UA already win the tournament anyway? If it doesn't affect anything NCAA-wise, and if the tournament is already decided...

They do things "different" in Fairbanks....you outta see the women up there -

Re: RPI vs. UAF 10/17/09 (Brice Alaska Goal Rush)

BTW, shootouts don't count in the all-important thread-starting stats. :D

They're good for the fans.

Plus, I'm not sure if CCHA rules apply. Tim is saying it's for nothing, but I don't know...

The refs want to call a penalty on RPI in the shootout. :D

Anchorage tournament has the same rules. UAF and UAA just want to make sure they don't play each other.
