I did not think the face offs were even that close. We seemed to lose almost all. I suspect that played a substantial role in Vermont having so much puck control in our zone all period long.
 
Much better period for us. seems it took 20 minutes to figure out how to play on the big sheet of ice. Face offs much better as Linden and Dubinsky just needed some time to figure out how to time the drop from these linesmen who have an odd cadence to it. Now have to play a smart road third period. Avoid the unnecessary penalties as we can hope they even up the calls a bit.
 
Much better play in the second period. Now a 2-0 lead and it could have been more.
Marshall was good again.
Vermont expended an awful lot of energy in the first period, I don't know what they will have left for the third.
 
Much better looking period. Some long stretches in the UVM zone and were able to stand them up on the blue line at times. Trying to get stats on CHN with no success.
