Turk-That kind of hit often leads to a shoulder separation. Those can vary from minor first degree to some really major problems. I hope this is just a minor incovenience and we get to see him play next weekend in AC.
update-just saw posted on another thread that the injury is a torn labrum. Even if it is only a minor tear, you take no chances. Season over. Sorry-he is going to have a nice career at RPI and would loved to have seen more of him this year.
No. 10 RENSSELAER at No. 1 UNION
RPI: 12-22-3 (7-12-3 ECACH)
Union: 20-7-7 (14-4-4 ECACH)
Season Series: Union, 3-0-0
Engineers Fact: Since losing 16 of its first 19 games, RPI is 9-6-3 in its last 18 contests.
Dutchmen Fact: Union has scored four or more goals in six of its last nine games, and is 7-1-1 in that stretch.
How RPI Wins: Both teams have tenacious forechecks, but Union has more talent to take advantage of turnovers it creates. RPI has to bury its chances when chances come available.
How Union Wins: This team is a favorite, but can’t take the regular season series against RPI for granted. This Engineers have gotten much better in the second half and those first three meetings matter little.
I won't be on here tonight, nor will I be at the game. We are throwing my wife a surprise 30th birthday, but the TV will be tuned to the game on TW3.

Wish her a happy birthday from all of us. (I hope nobody objects to that).
