RPI & Union @ Harvard & Dartmouth (2/12 & 2/13)

Re: RPI & Union @ Harvard & Dartmouth (2/12 & 2/13)

RPI fans: do you know what happened to York? How severe is his injury? I hope that he is allright. Post an update when you have it, please. I was in my usual spot in the center ice and thought he fell kinda awkwardly during the sequence leading to first Dartmouth goal, but I didn't see any contact.

Bullmoose, in case you're still wondering, York injured his right ankle. The injury did not come as a result of contact. Dartmouth didn't do anything to cause the injury other than moving the puck around in front of him.

It certainly isn't expected that the injury will cause any lasting damage, but York is considered unlikely to be available for this weekend's games against Quinnipiac and Princeton. Whether he will be ready by the weekend following is not known at this point.

Compliments to Dartmouth on their win. When they lost the early lead and fell behind by two goals, after having blown a big lead and lost to Union the night before, they could easily have folded their tents. They didn't.

Thanks for the update on York. I am glad that the injury isn't severe. I thought Merriam looked pretty solid in the net for you guys for most of the remainder of that game. Good luck against Princeton and Q-Pac!
