Outshot 13-5 which is not too surprising when you are shorthanded 6 minutes and the opposition has not taken a penalty

Period ends with the score 1-1.
Not our best period but Diebold keeps us in it. We need to pick it up if we want to come away with a win.
No offensive pressure the whole period.

I suspect the penalties played a big part in our inability to get any rhythm going. Another big problem is just the complete inability for the guys to clear the defensive zone-Union was keeping pucks alive for second and third chances all period

Great Goal tending by Diebold !!! Some great saves. Follows the puck very well.

And those second and third chances are why we are getting some of these penalties.

He might make some calls-once the game is well out of hand or decided. If we do not start moving better Union does not need to take any penalties.
