RPI @ Union - Friday 10/31

Been wanting to say this for some time. RPI now in first place in the ECAC and undefeated in league play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
The score obviously does not completely describe this game as both teams had some really wide open chances. The good- no dreaded second period. No let down and signs of physical weakness in the third. In fact, we seemed to get stronger as the game progressed. Tomorrow is another day and we cannot sit back at all. Union is as advertised, fast and physical and we have to match that for the entire 3 periods. Hate that we are only 1-6 but love that we are 1-0 in the ECAC!!!!!!!!!
 
Should be quite a game tomorrow. UC will be looking to return the favor in Troy. I'm sure Coach & Captains know that...

I am not a fan of 4 pm start times. Suspect most of you are not, either.
 
RPI did something last night that I do not recall seeing in a very long time. We scored 3 short handed goals in the game. Both Empty Net goals count as short handed and we scored one during that 5 minute major. I will check this further later.
