RPI @ Union 3-10-12 game two

Re: RPI @ Union 3-10-12 game two

I'm sorry that you feel that way. Union is only a few miles away, and they have been great the last three years.
Just sayin'

As an alumnus and fan who has followed the team since the late 70's, I'm insulted w/ your BS comment. If you're satisfied with the outcome of the last 8-10 seasons, good for you. I'm not.

Re: RPI @ Union 3-10-12 game two

I can recall a really bad loss at home to Dartmouth, or Colgate later in the Fridgen era, 10-3 final score maybe? I'm too tired to look it up.

Ha! I was thinking the same exact thing. It was Colgate... :D

I wouldn't say anything this year was embarassing. The effort has been there. They have a long way to go. And 5 losses in one season to Union. That's depressing.

I had been saying all year that we just do not match up well against a few teams. Union is one of them. Whether it is personnel on the ice, style of play, or coaching philosophy-they were the worst for us this year. I honestly beleive we stood a far better chance against any other team in the league and if we had gotten through this weekend would have been a real threat in AC against any of the other teams. I did feel we had 3 embarrassing games this year-unfortunately 2 were on what i consider special nights. But overall, I was very proud of this team and these boys-much more so than a 12-14-3 record would normally engender.

I'm sorry that you are insulted, but as fans, we only have two choices.
I am not satisfied with the last 10 seasons, but I can see improvement. And I can see potential.
We can't change the past and as fans we have no say in the future. So if we want to remain fans, all we have is hope in the future.
Complaining about the past gets us nowhere.
And since I have only been following the team since 1993, I am jealous of the fact that you got to see a National Championship.
I would love to see one of those.
