That's fine. I've heard and believed the "next year" thing for the last 3 years. In no way were expectations of this season met. Not even close. Don't care how many close games, moral victories, progressions, etc. there were this year. 11th place finishes have to stop being acceptable.

This one ends with Union up 4-2. Give our boys credit for never quitting. They played this one out until the very end.

While we didn't play our best game tonight, we never gave up.
I would like to thank the seniors for four years of memories. They gave it their all for the Cherry and White.
And I look forward to seeing the rest of this team coming back next year.

Add me as one who is not happy with 24 loss seasons. We seem to have much more talent than that. I have also been waiting for next year a bit long now. There is no question we played better after january 1. We almost had to-we cetainly could not play worse. But even after jan 1 we had enough stinkers to remind us of how far we still need to go. I still want to congratulate the boys who kept working to make the last few weeks so much more exciting. I hate to see the season end under any circumstances but we did go down fighting.

I'm sorry that you feel that way. Union is only a few miles away, and they have been great the last three years.

Have to fully agree with all of that. These are all quality boys-they showed about as much heart as you can ever expect from anyone. I too am already looking forward to next October.
