RPI Recruit Thread 2022-23

The Mississauga Chargers (Jack Ziliotto) box score has not been filled in as of now. The game was played, and the Trenton Golden Hawks won 5-1 according to Trenton tweets. I will check again later.

The dates on which some of the women are listed as committing on may be considerably after the actual dates.
I am assuming that Neutral Zone regards their Star ratings as public because they often tweet them with committals.

STRENGTHS according to Neutral Zone (NZ doesn't include them for women):
Aw=Awareness/IQ, Ch=Character/Leadership, GS=Goal Scoring Ability, Sk=Skating, Sp=Speed, SH=Stick Handling Skill,
St-Strength, To=Toughness, Vi=Vision/Passing

The box score is still not available. The following is taken from the “Game Live” page.
On Sunday, the Mississauga Chargers lost to the Trenton Golden Hawks 5-1. Jack Ziliotto had an assist and a cross checking penalty. http://ojhl_stats.wttstats.pointstre...gameid=3602888

Ziliotto's line is now 27-10-18-28-38.


EDIT: The box score is there now and agrees with the above.

NZ has rated Jack Ziliotto as 3.75 *'s. It will appear the next time post the link. They also have him as a 2023 recruit. I am leaving him as a 2024.

if we take an average NZ rating of all our listed recruits we come out very close to 3.5 so this is a bit of a step up. Whatever that may mean remains quite a mystery to me as I often do not quite feel they are always predictive of what we see on the ice a few years later.

They definitely are not always predictive, but I find the evaluations interesting. I would like to see us get a greater percentage at 3.75 or higher than those currently listed. We did better (3.68 average, not including transfers) on this year's entering class.
