I am assuming that Neutral Zone regards their Star ratings as public because they often tweet them with committals.

Aw=Awareness/IQ, Ch=Character/Leadership, GS=Goal Scoring Ability, Sk=Skating, Sp=Speed, SH=Stick Handling Skill,
St-Strength, To=Toughness, Vi=Vision/Passing

Did Hab secretly become lead scout for the men's team? The AJHL is a good league, and Brooks alone has certainly produced a good crop, but it still trails the USHL, BCHL and even the NAHL in producing D1 players in the past few years. All of the recent commits are '04s and '05s so they may still go on to other leagues, but if they don't I hope whoever is scouting that territory has a great eye for under the radar talent.

I thought about kidding Hab before the last two commitments. :-) I also hope that whoever has been evaluating players there has a good eye. Neutral Zone's ratings of the recruits have been quite mediocre.

FWIW -- among the 7 D1 commits on the squad, two are ASU commits...along with Tapper and the others...so we aren't alone in scouring the AJHL.
 
On Friday, the Spruce Grove Saints defeated the Okotoks Oilers 4-1. Alexander Babich had a roughing penalty. Carter Oakenfold had a tripping penalty. Jagger Tapper had no points or penalties. Brody Maguire had a 10-minute misconduct penalty. https://www.ajhl.ca/stats/game-summary/16740

Babich's line is now 26-9-11-20-16.
Oakenfold's line is now 23-2-5-7-34.
Tapper's line is now 20-2-5-7-8.
Maguire's line is now 27-1-7-8-73.
 
The only point on Friday was from Tyler Hotson who probably hadn't practiced with his team.
