Ralph, Eric Fawkes name shows an "x" by it on the Generals' skater stats list, which pretty much confirms he's no longer with the team (or I guess it could just mean he's inactive):

Yes, it means that he is inactive according to the definition, but he does appear on the roster and that is not the case for other inactive players, or at least the ones which I checked. You are probably correct that he isn't with the team, but it can't hurt for me to at least pay attention this weekend.
