Aiden Dubinsky committed to Minnesota-Duluth. It was definitely unlikely we would beat a program of that caliber in a recruiting battle.

I'd be surprised if we didn't because there's no doubt they would have liked his hockey abilities. They would already know the family and the type of character he shows. It's possible that he was never really interested in coming to RPI, but I'd be pretty surprised if we never showed any interest.

I think RB is spot on that we likely never had a real shot at the younger Dub. Any kernel of a glimmer of a hint of hope of landing a kid like that flew out the window when the school decided to stop communicating with its student athletes many months ago...
 
On Friday, the Johnstown Tomahawks defeated the Maryland Black Bears 3-1. Max Smolinski did not dress. Jack Brackett had no points or penalties. Reid Leibold did not dress. http://nahl.com/game-center/#/game-summary/29558

Smolinski's Johnstown line is now 4-0-0-0-0.
His total is 6-0-0-0-0.
Brackett's line is now 11-5-0-5-8.
Leibold's line is now 18-5-7-12-12.
