Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16 Part II

That was SSM's first loss for any of their teams in the Nationals.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16 Part II

On Saturday, the Los Angeles Jr. Kings U16 team defeated Team North Dakota 5-1 in the National Tier-I 16U Tournament. The Kings' final round robin record is 1-2. They finished in 3rd place in their pool. Jacob Modry had a goal, an assist, and a roughing penalty. (Almost a Gordie Howe hat trick. :) ) http://nationals.usahockey.com/tour...mes/56e867b70d1f7008ef000044?referrer=2153808

Modry's National Tier-I 16U Tournament line is now 3-1-1-2-2.
His total is now 46-5-12-17-18.

This ends their season.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16 Part II

I will post the summary for Fairbanks' (Burgess) final regular season game in the AM.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16 Part II

On Saturday, the Fairbanks Ice Dogs defeated the Kenai River Brown Bears 6-0. Todd Burgess had 2 goals (1 PPG) and 2 assists (2 PPA). 8 SOGs. He was named the #1 Star. :) http://nahl.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2711198

Burgess's line is now 60-38-57-95-42.
That tied the highest point total in the years that are on line (since 04-05).

Edit: And Fairbanks set an NAHL records for standings points.

Too bad that he lost an assist from Friday's game.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16 Part II

Have not watched the NAHL for a couple of years. Interesting how the play has deteriorated. Burgess is solid though.

I can't speak with any personal knowledge, but most reports have said that the league has been improving. One thing, however, is that Fairbanks' opponent in that game, Kenai River, is a poor team. Fairbanks has benefitted from 16 games against KR.

If you’re just going by the Fbks. highlights keep in mind that Kenai River is BY FAR the worst team in the League.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16 Part II

The way that the National website updates randomly without a clock it is impossible to know what is going on, and it is worse when a game is in OT.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16 Part II

Patrick Polino's jersey went for $725, above the median.

I will definitely post the summary "whenever", probably during the third period of Georgetown's game. :)
