As for CF’s game, 3 ex- Alb. Acad. players (1 being the “Col.’s” son) & 3 C.D. area players on the PAL Roster. I actually played in a charity game last year @ the Glenns Falls CC with the 2 Albany kids.

I noticed the Colonel's son on that roster, and also a Gilroy who I assume is a brother (or maybe cousin) of former BU All-American Matt.

BTW, Carlos Fornaris turns 21 next month. Under the current rules (not the newly proposed ones), he loses a year of NCAA eligibility unless he is in a college degree program by that date. It used to be that players stopped playing junior hockey but now most take courses at a local college. They lose the ability to redshirt since the five-year clock to play four years of NCAA hockey starts ticking when they enroll, but they don't lose a year of eligibility. I suspect that CF was taking courses in Topeka. I wonder what he is doing now. Or maybe he is just starting to take courses now, so this was the ideal time to move.

Did you also notice the name Jake Marello on the PAL roster? When you were up 2 yrs ago & I introduced you to Jake Wood he told us a kid from AA (Marello) was there on a recruiting visit.

I do recall being introduced to Wood by you. I don't recall what he said.

I assume that you posted this because I don't have JB's games played for THS. The problem is that I can't be sure based upon the box scores whether he played in games where he did not get a point, so I decided to leave it blank. I did that once or twice before with women players.

BTW THS's record of 9-5-2 they have (including that game) on their own site http://www.hunschool.org/page/Team-Detail?fromId=190347&Team=153354&SeasonLabel=2015+-+2016. THN counts the shootout win in the Purple Puck Tourney which explains it.

They are two different prep schools here in NJ. They both have boys hockey teams and this year I think they have similar records. I had thought THS was playing at St. Augustine which is why we considered going (It is located far south of us near Cape May in a really nice remote area). St Peter's is in Jersey City and we probably not drive there but only because the neighborhood is not exactly where we would like to drive through.

I am sure Jenny has a lot of knowledge about Sts. She went to Catholic schools for 13 years. The only St. I know is Eva Marie in the movie North by Northwest (Hitchcock usually had a cool icy blonde in most of his movies).

Over the years we have seen both of the teams I mentioned but not recently. I had a look at the Hun school schedule ealier this season and thought they were supposed to play St. Augustine this week but just was not sure.
