On Friday, the Tri-City Storm lost to the Cedar Rapids Roughriders 7-2. Alec Dillon saved 5 of 10 shots in 32:20. :( http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/boxscore.html?gameid=2469539

Dillon's line is now 13-7-5-0-2.27-.917.

The score could have been worse if Dillon didn't make a few very nice saves.

Tri City's defense was lacking last night and Cedar Rapids speed seemed to overwhelm them.

The only soft goal Dillon allowed, and yes it was very soft was a CR forward threw the puck on net from the boards which seemed harmless, but somehow it found net. I would have to see the replay to confirm but I was dumbfounded that it went in.

The only technical problem with Dillon that I saw was he doesn't push off his skate as well as I expected when trying to go post to post. I don't know if it is strength but it seemed in slow motion to me.
Rough outing but he will bounce back.

Thanks. I wonder if he will be in the net this evening.

I like that AD was given a chance to redeem himself for last night. Heading to OT tied at 1.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15

I will post the other others summaries in the AM.

Meirs Moore is playing for Victoria http://www.bchl.ca/leagues/hockey_boxscores.cfm?clientID=1413&leagueID=2393&gameID=1358249&link=bchl.
Evan Tironese is again not dressed for AV. http://www.bchl.ca/leagues/hockey_boxscores.cfm?clientID=1413&leagueID=2393&gameID=1358244&link=bchl.
Fairbanks (Burgess) hasn't started yet. http://nahl.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2477067.

And nothing is up for this game which should be long over. I'll check on this too in the AM.
