On Saturday, St. Andrews College defeated the Nichols School 4-1. Austin Cho scored two goals. http://cisaastats.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2462322

Cho's line in league games is now 10-1-10-11-0.
His total is 34-5-28-33-15.


I'll give AC #1 Star. :)
Nichols' only goal was scored 1 second into the third period. That seems impossible if the timekeeping was accurate.


Edit (Sunday) Cho went from two goals to one assist. :eek:

I wrote "Check to the Head" first and then noticed that there were also two on the other team and decided they probably wouldn't be that many in a game. I now notice that it was a double minor which makes checking to the head more likely. I will change it.

I wish there was a list of what all of the penalty abbreviations are. They either are obvious, like "HOOK", or they stump me. If there is a list on the league site, I couldn't find it. I did look at Wikipedia's list of hockey penalties, but it didn't help. I suppose that the exact penalty isn't really important. The refs sometimes pick them randomly anyway. :)

Not all leagues are that strict on Contact To the Head. Sure, college is five + game, and IIHF is match penalty, but perhaps that league still just treats it as a minor. Either that, or the contact was incidental, as can be called in college as well.

Not all leagues have the same rules about many things. It probably is Contact to the Head. I just wish that they would not abbreviate it.
