Lou Nanne commits via Over the Boards. Former Edina HS player is injured and hasn't played yet this year, but had 41 points in 45 last year in BCHL. Former Minnesota commit is 2012 NHL draft pick.

LW Louis Nanne - Sioux Falls (USHL): Minnesota’s seventh-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft is currently sidelined following shoulder surgery this summer and is expected to be out until mid-December

We now have four forwards, Fornaris, Melanson, Nanne, and Tironese who supposedly will arrive next fall. We have three seniors, so to stay at 15 forwards one would have to defer until 2015. The most likely would appear to be Fornaris. Of course, we did carry 16 forwards a year ago, and there is the chance that someone (e.g., Haggerty) might leave this summer. It's a good place to be.

Hopefully Nanne's shoulder injuries (both shoulders apparently) aren't long term. We have enough of that already with Kasdorf.

Yikes! Both shoulders? Hope he will be able to reach the net with his shot. He found himself in Canada? Did he de-commit UM because they booed him? Or is it that he couldn't stand the pressure of living up to the family name?

We have a lot of experience with bad shoulders.

BTW grandpa Lou played at the HFH in the early 1960s in a Holiday Tourney. He made the All-Tourney team.
