He'll have it whether you had it or not... truth is, Melanson could score 8 goals in one game, we're all here talking about it while it's going on, buzz buzz buzz, everyone knows about it... and then he comes along and posts his pro forma.

There had been some minor discussion here about ex-Reno teammate Dylan Malmquist, he's off to Notre Dame.

I was wrong that SA was watching the NAHL, or at least he was not there the whole time.

Elite Prospects has his stats back through Midgets in Calgary and also shows him as a 2014 recruit http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=80739.

Not bad that he is leading the team in scoring from the blue line http://www.bchl.ca/leagues/stats_1team.cfm?clientID=1413&teamID=378203&leagueID=2393. He either scored or assisted on 6 of AV's 9 goals. AV must really miss Tironese and Lough as they are 0-5.

This certainly makes it look Prapavessis isn't going to Troy until 2015 since I wouldn't expect four new defensemen when we are losing two. It wouldn't surprise me if Manley is also for 2015. So, we may see them both in the USHL next year.


Today (Friday) in the USHL, Omaha is playing a preseason game while Sioux City and Green Bay start their regular seasons.

Great news! I ended up liking the AV Facebook page back when Tironese was on the team; it'll be good to continue following them.

As an addendum, I'll give points to WAFT's humour associated with their calling of it.

I hope that SA had better reasons for recruiting Wilson. :)
