Just read Yeti's Lincoln Twitter....He was surprised they played an OT (Lincoln won in reg. 4-2)....and they played the OT 3 on 3.

It doesn't bother me that they practice these things in exhibition games. It's good that you got confirmation of what we thought (although I guessed 4 on 4 which could be the case still in the OJHL or in other USHL games).

I found no boxscore for this game but both Team Pages show a Youngstown 3-2 victory. Game today vs Muskeegon hasn't started yet (at least not on Pointstreak), but it looks like Meirs Moore #23 is not in the lineup... http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/boxscore.html?gameid=2265963

News concerning OT in the USL this year......... Based on some tweets I saw Friday evening, it appears that the USHL is testing out the possibility of having teams play 5 minutes of 3-on-3 overtime hockey during the regular season if teams are tied after regulation. I saw that too. What I didn't see is if that would be followed by a shootout if it is still tied. I hope not.

And today's Cedar Rapids game which started at 1:30 has no boxscore http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2265962. Hopefully TLP's game, which actually counts, will online on time. I will post my usual info eventually.

I will be out bike riding when Sioux City and Cedar Rapids play on Saturday, and I will post those summaries when I return if they are on line.

It beats me -- it should be over since it started at 1:30, and I didn't check. Of course the schedule claims NJ is on EST, not EDT, so who really knows. :D

I also don't expect to see anything about Austin's game's results.

I am sure that the Austin Bruins (Manley) have other exhibition games before their season starts on 9/18, but no others are shown on their site and none on the NAHL. I am too lazy to look on every NAHL team's site.
