RPI Recruit Thread 2013-14 (Part III)

Meirs Moore is picked in the 1st rd. (#21) of the NAHL Draft by Janesville Jets

Is there a good CC or JC in the Janesville area? Interesting draft strategy for the Jets - 5 first round picks and they used 4 of them on USHL players.

Colleges and Universities: Blackhawk Technical College, University of Wisconsin-Rock County, Academy of Cosmetology

They are 2-year schools.

Let's go for the Academy of Cosmetology. ;)

University Of Wisconsin Whitewater is a short drive from Janesville as well. I grew up in Wisconsin.

Hayhurst is on the August camp list for Cedar Rapids. Appears it was a scheduling conflict for the 1st camp

He certainly might if he doesn't stick with Waterloo. It's possible. I read but didn't think it was worth posting that Melanson might be back with Waterloo.
...after reading the article it just appears HC O’Handley is crossing his fingers and hoping...... As for Pecararo, committed to Maine, Melanson (RPI) and Pratt (UConn), O'Handley said their returns hinge a lot on what their respective colleges want to do....http://wcfcourier.com/sports/hockey...cle_dcf388d7-d380-5efb-9c7b-8e8d791de8c5.html

Exactly. That was why I didn't post it. IMHO, if Melanson isn't at RPI, he won't be in the USHL either.
