On Tuesday, the Toronto Lake Shore Patriots defeated the Fort Frances Lakers (SIJHL) 4-1. Their record in the Dudley-Hewitt Cup round robin is 1-0. (This is a 4-team round robin, today, tomorrow, and Thursday. One team will be eliminated. On Friday #2 plays #3, and the winner of that game plays #1 on Saturday for the central Canada Royal Bank Cup berth.) Michael Prapavessis had a goal and an assist. Yes but it's not the first publication to mention that. We'll see when Lincoln opens their tryout camp June 12-15th as a possible indication of where he'll play.

Exactly. I suspect that he won't be at RPI this fall. He may try out for Lincoln -- he may not.

He has the longest blurb. I would think that that would be a good sign except that Higgs's description was quite short compared to many others, and he won. (Then again our ballot box stuffing helped. :D )

And they spelled RPI correctly, as opposed to "Bimiji State" for Beauvais.

TLP's account makes it sound better.

BTW, according to the box score of today's ongoing game, TLP's usual starting goalie Evan Buitenhuis is the backup, and Jeremy Helvig gave up a goal on the first shot he faced this afternoon.

TLP and Wellington are both 2-0 and play for the number one seed and a bye this evening. (The other two teams are 0-2, so one will be eliminated this afternoon.)

Edit: BTW, Buitenhuis had made 21 straight playoff starts in goal for TLP before Wednesday.
