They did spell Rensselaer correctly. ;) Remember that this site had Reno coming next season after he had already arrived.

I think we can safely assume that what recruits have posted on their Twitter page is what they think but even that could turn out wrong. Heisenberg has written that what he enters is often his best guess. I don't think that CHI knows much if anything more.

SA has probably built some flexibility into the dates to take care of unforeseen circumstances, and then he will probably say it was his plan all the time. ;)

That is unless SA follows The Blackhawks' lead and moves the BRO to forward...wouldn't that be fun.

I add my congratulations. Fornaris is suspended from Friday's game, almost certainly due to the hitting from behind major penalty in his last game.

We have five players graduating and supposedly eight on this list for next year. Who would we delay? I haven't seen Charlie Manley play yet, but something tells me he might be delayed another year. Tironese and Melanson seem like definites, I'd think also Moore and Wilson due to age. If we give the same reasoning, maybe Nanne's the 5th?

The three forwards are most likely Tironese, Melanson, and Nanne. The question is mainly on defense. I agree on Moore and Wilson due to age, but Moore does not appear to have adapted well to the USHL. That doesn't mean he won't be in Troy in the fall.

On Wednesday, the Toronto Lake Shore Patriots defeated the Toronto Junior Canadiens 7-1. They lead their best-of-7 playoff series 1-0. Michael Prapavessis had two assists. Jacob Hayhurst had a powerplay goal and an assist. http://ojhlsite.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2402084

Prapavessis' playoff line is 1-0-2-2-0.
Total 48-5-51-56-2.
Hayhurst's playoff line is 1-1-1-2-0.
Total 49-14-20-34-40.

Hoping Moores' game goes to OT. With 1:55 left he already has 1g but also has 8 SOG. How often do you have a chance at double-digits in SOG's.

It is in overtime as you know. MM seems to step up his game against his old team. He twice had 6 SOGs vs. Sioux City.

On Wednesday, the Fargo Force defeated the Sioux City Musketeers 4-3 in overtime. Meirs Moore scored an unassisted goal against his old team and had a roughing penalty. 8 SOGs http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2235546

Moore's Fargo line is now 27-3-1-4-26.
His total is 38-3-1-4-30.


Edit: Interesting that the #2 and #3 Stars were awarded early. They were awaiting the GWG to see who got #1. Strange, but makes more sense than some which we have seen.

That happens every now and then. I suspect that someone didn't press the key that makes it official. Then again there are no stars listed yet.
