Wasn't there a hockey league that actually prohibited logic or rational thinking in their rules?

Yes indeed Green Bay has used a spot for Tironese. We should learn where he will be soon since Alberni Valley plays an exhibition game in under three weeks. Also the 30-man rosters still will have cuts. It is just about time to start a new thread too.

RB - Intriguing for sure. There's nothing to prevent him from joining GB, even if he starts in Alberni, is there?

I doubt it.

It is conceivably possible that Green Bay gave him a waiver to not have to participate in camp. Perhaps he was injured/sick or it was a way to save him the airfare since I wouldn't think that the USHL is allowed to pay him to get there. Then again he may just be on the roster to keep other USHL team from going after him.

Wow! you don't often get such straight Q/A's, I like it............ However, Tironese said he never actually wanted to leave the Bulldogs, but felt forced to do so once he flew to Green Bay for the Gambler's camp.

Pretty hard ball stance (the ultimatum) Alberni took with their captain and AC...I guess I can understand it -- like everyone else they're sick of having their guys poached from the U.

It's really not much different from when the Canadian major junior leagues poach from colleges.
