perhaps Monty will take one (or 2) more future Engineers. I'm told, by one of his team-mates @ Alb. Aca., that Jeff Taylor (Union '13) will be playing for Monty this fall.

Taylor's on DBQ's protected list. Unless they trade him, that's where he will be.

For those that are interested, the USHL entry draft begins this afternoon at 5. I believe Jake Wood and Evan Tironese are the only two RPI recruits eligible to be selected, as all the other recruits are either already in the USHL or were selected in the futures draft.

Isn't Tironese too young for this draft?

If the name Evan Tironese doesn't ring a bell, you must have missed something indeed. Heisenberg first mentoned him on May 1. He's a 2014 recruit. Check back in this thread starting then. I'll repost the recruit list.

I love those stats. He scored on 23 of the 34 shots he took! Amazing!

Its possible we are done recruiting for 2012-13. Theres 5 incoming forwards (Zalewski, Bourbonnais, Miller, Fulton, Commers) to replace the 5 departing forwards (Malchuk, Smith, AAG, Cullen, Rabbani). Also have 2 incoming Dmen (Bradley, Bokenfohr) to replace the 2 Dmen not returning (Bergin, Koudys). Although it wouldnt surprise me if RPI brings in one more Dman. Also have to think with the Commers addition it probably means we wont see Bubela until 2013-14.

I think you're right. His reg. season stats has 17g on 17 SOG.

That was the identical logic that I went through. Conceivably we have a dman waiting, but he won't commit until Bergin informs SA of his decision.
