RPI @ Quinnipiac 01/08/10

Re: RPI @ Quinnipiac 01/08/10

And a SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-TLAG gets the easiest goal in his career, and RPI is up by THREE!!!!!!!

Re: RPI @ Quinnipiac 01/08/10

Really nice that we never went into a defensive shell-this team could be starting to get on a roll!!

Re: RPI @ Quinnipiac 01/08/10

Quinnipiac ECAC record:

first 7: 7-0-0
next 5: 0-5-0

Weird.

Nice job RPI.

Re: RPI @ Quinnipiac 01/08/10

Not sure this is correct but I have Union over Princeton 6-3 in the third period:eek:

Re: RPI @ Quinnipiac 01/08/10

outshot 37-15:eek:

Oh well, big numbers say 4-1. Cornell I know can attest to the fact that shots don't matter.

Great job on special teams tonight. I don't know if we exactly controlled a period tonight, let's look to that next.

That's what the instrumentals sound like on Sweet Caroline?

Re: RPI @ Quinnipiac 01/08/10

My fault. A couple days ago I was talking to somebody about the relative merits of the ECAC feeds and I said RPI was the only one I could never recall failing. Sorry. :p

Actually, in past seasons we lost it often. This year it has been quite good, and even today, although we lost it often, it was never an extended loss.

I guess they just never lose it against us. ;)

Union now undefeated through 8 conference games (5-0-3). Definitely for real.

Interesting reasoning as to why Bryan is playing up front... would have thought for different reasons, but I trust him.

No red shouted... they must have asked specifically to not do it.

What was the reason??

Re: RPI @ Quinnipiac 01/08/10

Just got back from the Engineers win against the Bobcats...Brutlag did GREAT at forward. Our guys had magnetic sticks tonight...they got on every loose puck. There was a minor brain fart at the beginning of the third but they shook their collective head and brought it home.

GRussinko! I wasn't sure where to look for you so we can figure something out...

I met Wicked Slappaahs and he is a great guy! Forgot to tell you, Wicked...you broke your 'on the road' losing streak!

I LOVED watching the Bobcats end the game with each playing trying too hard to be the hero while the Engineers continued to pass the puck!

I don't know; I was in my apartment for the night. Some schools (SLU, West Point) will specifically request fans do not shout during the anthems. I don't remember Q-Pac being as such, although we have been chided by it before.

There wasn't any kind of announcement and I was very surprised to not hear it.

Great showing by the Engineer faithful. Bad showing by everyone involved with Quinnipiac. Yuck Yuck Yuck.

Oh well. Welcoming Union tomorrow.
