Short track speed skating relays are awesome. That is all.

For the winter Olympics i usually look forward to the women's curling - especially Sweden. In the summer Olympics it is usually for the Rhythmic Gymnastics (Just about any team) for obvious reasons.

Denmark women's hockey. For obvious reasons.

The boys are really working hard and, for us, they’ve played about as well as we could have hoped. It’s just hard when you lack creative offensive players.

it might make it a tad easier if they could occasionally win a face off tonight. They are getting beaten in that regard badly and QU just gets control of the puck immediately.

Possibly the smallest RPI road crowd I’ve seen in 20 years. Then again, there are lots of empty seats for a Saturday night game for a top 5 team. Really not much atmosphere.

Faceoffs are 25-11. Never seen them beaten this badly all season. Colgate and Cornell tied 2-2 after two while schenectady leads PU 5-3 after two.

In answer to your query to Sezenek earlier - Jen and I got to Princeton quite late. We did not have tickets but were able to get in for part of the game late thanks to friends who work there. Could not move around much since we did not have seats so we kept a low profile. Have not seen such bad officiating against us since, well, most games in the north country. Just horrible calls and very unequal enforcement. But must admit, we often put ourselves in position to get called. Addamo gets some very bad calls much like Curadi did years ago. The ref hears a big sound and looks up and makes a call against the biggest boy he sees.

Thanks for the info, Doc. I miss watching RPI live. It’s now been almost 2 years. I may have to break down and go see them in the playoffs if they don’t play at home.

Announcer was talking about an RPI come from behind win. Problem is RPI has not won a game all season when trailing after 2 periods.

Just another situation where RPI plays to the level of the competition. No question QU is the best team we played all season and we keep it a one goal game until late. But we do that with teams we should be able to beat by 2 or 3 goals also.

Another Saturday, another shutout. Marshall did everything possible to get the win but the lack of a goal scorer is just killing this team.

The game was technically a sellout with no-shows, but that was still way more fans than the last time I saw RPI play at Q late in Dave Smith's first year, when the place was about 80% empty. I didn't think the RPI fan turnout was that bad, at least relative to previous Q trips. I saw quite a few RPI shirts and hats walking around. I did not see one RPI fan in particular who is normally at every away game, so we might have felt a particular void by not seeing him.
