Re: RPI Pros IV

While checking if any of the recruits were listed in the RPI Directory (still just two of the women), I noticed the following

Name: Bradley James Tapper
Class: Senior
Curriculum: Management

I guess that he decided to complete his degree.

Yup-was not sure it was to be public knowledge.

That is great. It can't hurt the team to have someone around with NHL experience.

Well, I noticed it when I checked for Chris Bradley. When I entered "Bradley", it also brings up those with Bradley is a first or middle name. I don't know when he was entered, but the odds are that the first dozen or so times I did not notice Tapper on a rather long list of Bradleys.

If he is actually on campus, I guess that none of the current students who post here recognizes him.

I can vouch for the fact that except for a few extra facial scars, courtesy of the NHL, he looks the same.

Re: RPI Pros IV

So is he playing A league hockey now?

Coaching on the Florida west coast and living a lovely relaxed life with his wife Alison and their two boys. I suspect he already has both of them on skates. I know his brother Bryan is in South Carolina with his wife Courtney and their two sons (who I know are on skates).

I expect scouting reports on the four boys sent to Coach Appert regularly. This team could use a few Tappers. :D

Re: RPI Pros IV

Brandon Pirri not in the Rockford line up this weekend. Has anybody heard anything?
Oren Eizenman had a goal for Connecticut this weekend.
Way to go Oren. :)

Re: RPI Pros IV

The Hockey News's Future Watch issue lists Pirri as the Blackhawks' #8 prospect and D'Amigo is the Maple Leafs' #8 prospect.

Do they break the numbers down as to forwards vs defensemen? Number 8 seems rather like a long shot but if they were number 3 or 4 among forwards it might not be so bad.

Re: RPI Pros IV

Pirri would be 4th for forwards and D'Amigo 5th.

Thanks RB and Turk. Seems like it will be an uphill battle for both boys-the next crop to be added to each team will be coming up soon. I would think their best chance to move up would be before then. Thus far their decision to jump has been questionable. In another year we may well know if the decision was indeed worse than that.
