Re: RPI Pros IV

if you're watching the NHL Network broadcast of the Blackhawks game (Detroit feed) may I recommend listening on wgnradio.com (Blackhawks announcers).

Re: RPI Pros IV

Brandon Pirri finishes off a good night by scoring in the shoot-out. BP is named Player of the Game by Blackhawk radio announcers. 2g, 1a...1g in shoot-out. :) :) :) BP named #3 Star.....Zetterberg #1....hometown cooking no doubt.

I should've noted that his 1st goal was an un-assisted short handed goal

Pirri:The kid is patient with the puck and is surprisingly strong trying to stick handle through players one point it took 4 wings to get the puck from him, that slapshot was incredible live even wings fans were admiring it, he has some serious hands. He has a swagger with the puck that makes the D back off a bit kind of like Kane's stickhandling.

He should get more than one game this year in Chicago.

He should get more than one game this year in Chicago.

I only got to see the last ten minutes of last nights game. But after watching him play about four periods this preseason, he looks very comfortable and ready to make the step to the NHL.
He looks very confident carrying the puck and doesn't shy away from the corners. He made a very nice play on his shoot-out goal. Very patient.
He could be in the NHL to stay.

Re: RPI Pros IV

Chicago has cut it's roster down to 31 as of this morning...BP's still with them.

They couldn't cut him after a game where he got either a goal or an assist on all three Chicago goals plus their only SO goal. I do feel that they will send him back to the AHL, but he could be up and down all year.
