Re: RPI Pick to Click 2017-18

Still waiting for engineerhockeyfan to come back. Mostly just hoping that Jerry and Pieper go pointless Saturday so I don't have to deal with this. I'm going to say now that if he doesn't pop back in until tomorrow, I'm going to let him change one and only one of the picks to a defenseman or goalie.

Sorry Lugnut, I hope you have to deal with it since I took both of them... :)

Re: RPI Pick to Click 2017-18

Oh shoot, I meant to give people warnings when they were approaching the limits and totally missed that he was so close to fifty for forwards. I was intending to go on a day-to-day basis, so the Wilson/Cressey pick for Friday would be fine, but Jerry/Pieper violates the limit and would be entirely ineligible. He would need to either remake the pick or he will receive no points for Saturday. All that said, I kind of fell down on the job here and feel like I should grant a bit of clemency. If he happens to not come back in the thread and repick before tomorrow evening, I'll just award half points for his Saturday picks (as only half of the pick is legal).

EDIT: Oh and also, the limits will be removed for playoffs, so you only have to make eight more picks total under the restrictions.

Replace Jerry with Reilly.
Thanks

It's been there the whole time. I'm not trying to screw you.

At no time did i ever think that you were trying to screw me. I should have read rules.
I love the game and appreciate your running it. Keep up the good work.

I make a race towards respectability, and then I miss the week. Such is life.

You and viz have shown how bad my picks have been this year since both of you have missed more than 1 week.

Re: RPI Pick to Click 2017-18

Congratulations to engineerhockeyfan on his weekly win!

We pretty well sucked this weekend, but Donovan Ott (no one) sure made a splash. He had a hand in all three RPI goals on the weekend, including a goal and an assist against Princeton. Princeton did a bit better, with an ineligible jerk putting up a hat trick and Jackson Cressey (engineerhockeyfan) contributing two goals and an assist of his own.
Saturday was much of the same for RPI, with Ott (no one) scoring the only RPI goal, but this time he was matched for PtC points by Jared Wilson (FlagDUDE08, Ralph Baer). Many Bobcats would have gotten you a point or two, but Brandon Fortunato (no one) led them all with his power play goal.

Link back to the first post with details on scoring

It's finally time for BIG RED FREAKOUT! RPI will host the clearly inferior Cornell big red (22-3-2) on Friday, followed by Senior Night and, well, you know, against the Toothpaste guys (13-14-5). Let's go out and get a couple wins here.

Picks must be in by 7:00 PM ET on Friday.

You may NOT choose the following players for these games:
RPI: Jacob Hayhurst, Evan Tironese, and Mike Prapavessis
Cornell: Anthony Angello, Trevor Yates, and Yanni Kaldis
Colgate: Bobby McMann, Adam Dauda, and Nick Austin

Statistics and Rosters

Colgate: Statistics | Roster (Beware B./H. Racine confusion)

REMINDER:
engineerhockeyfan may not pick a forward this week.
FlagDUDE08 may pick no more than two goalies.

Re: RPI Pick to Click 2017-18

Congratulations to FlagDUDE08 on taking the final bonus point of the regular season!

TJ Samec (no one) put up a pair of assists for RPI on Friday night. They didn't mean much, but they were just his second and third points of the season, so good for him. Three different Cornell skaters earned 3 PtC points; Morgan Barron (Ralph Baer) potted a goal and added an assist, and defensemen Brendan Smith and Cody Haiskanen (no one for either) each added a goal.
Another FREAKOUT! came and went with an RPI loss, but Jacob Hayhurst (ineligible) capped off a hell of a weekend with a pair of goals. If you wanted to pick a legal player, the optimal choice was senior captain Jared Wilson (RPI fan 4 life, lugnut92, FlagDUDE08), who earned a secondary assist in his final regular season game. Colgate was led by two goal-scorer Paul McAvoy (no one).
