RPI Pick to Click 2015-16

Re: RPI Pick to Click 2015-16

Man, tournaments are annoying. Congratulations to FlagDUDE08 on his second weekly win of the season (and he didn't even pick the right goalie!). Fun fact: No one picked a defenseman. That was pretty dumb.

For our Engineers, defenseman Mike Prapavessis (no one) led all players with 6 PtC points, earning three assists on Friday (and joining his teammates in doing jack against Harvard). Cam Hackett (no one) did earn a pair of quality starts, but was neither the best option for RPI or the best goalie at the tournament.
Western Michigan didn't have a great weekend, as their leading scorer defenseman Corey Schueneman (1-1–2; no one) needed an own goal to earn his 5 PtC points.
The host Fighting Irish spread out their meager attack, as their top scorer was defenseman Alex Ryan (0-2–2; no one) with only 4 PtC points.
Finally, Harvard's <s>defenseman</s> Kyle Criscuolo (3-1–4; lugnut92, FlagDUDE08) was the most valuable skater in the whole tournament. However, his 7 PtC points were matched by goalie and tournament MVP Merrick Madsen (2 QS, 1 SO; no one).

Großen Grünen:

Not to be picky ...
No wait, this is a "picky" thread. ;)
I probably don't know what I am talking about, but I think that when color adjectives are used as nouns, they are treated as singular and neuter and don't have endings, so if you want to write "Big Green" it is "Großes Grün" and "The Big Green" is " Das große Grün". If you are referring to the German political party, Grünen is correct, but that is Greens, not Green.

Blame google translate. I only do French, but that wouldn't have the alliteration.

Re: RPI Pick to Click 2015-16

Kerfoot is injured according to the Harvard thread. If I am allowed to change it, make it Donato.

Since I have the same exact picks as Ralph, I should also put up a similar caveat post. If I'm allowed, I'll go with Criscuolo.

Re: RPI Pick to Click 2015-16

FlagDUDE wins again, and this was an odd week. Turns out that 0-0 games aren't good for scoring.

Friday saw three Engineers earn two PtC points: Milos Bubela (1 G; no one), Mike Prapavessis (1 A; ineligible), and Cam Hackett (QS, no one). Dartmouth had much the same experience, though with four players: Brett Patterson (1 G; no one), Carl Hesler (1 G; no one), Karan Toor (1 A; no one), and Devin Buffalo (QS; FlagDUDE08).
Saturday certainly happened. Jason Kasdorf (no one) and Merrick Madsen (FlagDUDE08) both put up shutouts in RPI's first 0-0 game played in a building with walls and a roof and everything!
