Well, for better or worse, the unbeaten streak stays alive. RPI will take a break from conference play as they take on Bentley and UNH this weekend. We'll pretend the reason this post is so late is to get you used to it for next week, when again these posts will go up on Wednesday. That's definitely it. Yep.

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday.

Congratulations to engineerhockeyfan and Ralph Baer on the weekly win, and to the former for taking a commanding lead overall.

Part one of the "weekend" saw Mike Prapavessis (no one) lead the way for the Engineers, as he scored the eventual game-winning goal midway through the second period. The Falcons had three skaters earn 2 PtC points, but one was ineligible and no one picked the other two. Both Cam Hackett (no one) and Gabe Antoni (FlagDUDE08) earned quality starts.
Yesterday, Mike Prapavessis (no one) once again led all RPI skaters with 3 PtC points on one goal. The other team had Some Guy (Ralph Baer, engineerhockeyfan, lugnut92) pot a natty hatty, but they lost so haha. Cam Hackett once again did as well as was needed to earn the quality start. Some Guy = Andrew Poturalski

It's time for the annual "explain the tournament format" post! RPI heads to South Bend to face off against Western Michigan and either the Fighting Irish or the boring Crimson. Instead of making picks the normal way (i.e., one player for each team in each RPI game), you will pick one player from each team in the tournament for the whole weekend. This means you will select one player each from RPI, Harvard, Western Michigan, and Notre Dame for the whole weekend. You will receive points for those players' performance in both games involving RPI and without RPI. To increase variety, you may only pick one goaltender. The normal ineligibility rules apply.

Picks must be in by 4:05 ET on Friday.
