Re: RPI Pick to Click 2014-15: Under New Management
Congrats to RPIHFH on the weekly win and for climbing out of last place, though the two people ahead of you not making any picks certainly helped.
Friday saw two posters nail the best possible picks (though there were a few different combinations that worked). RPI had four players worth 2 PtC points (Laliberte originally had 3, but his "goal" was later awarded to McGowan):
Milos Bubela (1 G; TuteScrooge),
Jacob Laliberte (2 A; RPIHFH, burgie12, lugnut92),
Mark McGowan (1 G; no one), and
Jared Wilson (1 A; no one). On the other side of the puck,
Matthew Peca (RPIHFH, lugnut92, engineerhockeyfan) netted a goal and two assists to be Quinnipiac's best skater. Neither goalie earned the quality start, but
Michael Garteig (FlagDUDE08) also scored 4 PtC points by assisting on Peca's goal.
Saturday saw a much better effort out of the Engineers as they broke a number of streaks that they'd like to keep broken.
Curtis Leonard (ineligible) was far and away the best RPI skater, putting up 7 PtC points like a good captain should. The best eligible Engineers were
Matt Neal (1G, 1A; no one) and
Chris Bradley (1 G; no one).
Jason Kasdorf (Ralph Baer, engineerhockeyfan) earned the quality start. Princeton's
Tom Kroshus (no one) put home both Tiger goals in the losing effort.
