According to the time stamp I have here, you would have been okay, but such is life. If you want you could probably make picks for UMD and UM, you just wouldn't get points for their performance in this first game. Normally I wouldn't allow it, but this is the first week and 2 PM on a Friday is a ridiculous start time for a game (though I did warn you all about it a number of times).

Yeah, the forum server is running about 15 minutes slow, so all the timestamps are off. Thanks for the opportunity to pick for tomorrow!

Minnesota: Mike Reilly
Duluth: Welinski

Is that what it is? I noticed that some of the time stamps looked wrong, but I was trusting them anyway.

The Icebreaker tournament will go down as a relative success for the Engineers, who despite not being able to take the crown, earned the split and gave the current #1 a good game. We USCHO pickers also had a good week (tournaments will do that), with no one earning fewer than 5 points and the average being a little over 9 points.

Jason Kasdorf (no one) was the best Engineer on the weekend, earning a pair of quality starts for 4 points, but since you were limited to a single goalie for the weekend, one of Jacob Laliberte (burgie12, MavHockey14, TuteScrooge, rsfs04, lugnut92), Viktor Liljegren (engineerhockeyfan), or Mark Miller (no one) with one goal for 2 points each would have been better strategic picks for RPI.
As for Irish picks, defenseman Jordan Gross (no one) with one goal for 3 points was the best choice.
Bulldog goalie Matt McNeely (no one) ended up being the best choice in net despite playing only one game by earning a shutout QS and an assist for 9 (nine!) points in Sunday's game against Notre Dame. As for skaters, F Dominic Toninato (3 G, 1 A; no one) was worth a minuscule 7 points.
Finally, the champion Golden Gophers. Netminder Adam Wilcox (1 QS, 1 SO; vizoroo, FlagDUDE08, MavHockey14, lugnut92) and forward Kyle Rau (1 G, 3 A; burgie12, RKarger) were each worth 5 points, with Rau being the smart pick.

Link back to the first post with details on scoring

After the Ice Breaker tournament that saw us combine for more points than there were butts in seats at the Championship game, our intrepid Engineers head to Denver for a pair of games against the Pioneers. Denver has only played an exhibition so far, so they'll be looking to get off to a good start in their season opener.

We revert to the standard format for the game (one player per team per RPI game, no repeats, unlimited goalies) this weekend.

Picks must be in by 9:30 ET on Friday.

You may NOT choose the following players for this game:
