RPI Pick to Click - 2011-12

Re: RPI Pick to Click - 2011-12

Thanks, you ususally do such a great job that I thought I was doing something wrong.
Keep up the good work. :)
So, I re-updated my spreadsheet. You were the only poster I was missing picks from (I don't know how that happened). You didn't score a point against Colorado College, but you did get one point from the game vs Union. I've changed it in my spreadsheet and the "Standings" spreadsheet will be updated with your new point total when I calculate the scores from tonight's game.

Again, I'm really sorry about that and I have no idea how I missed your picks (especially twice!).

RPI - Pat Koudys
RIT - Adam Mitchell

You're just doing it so taht I don't feel bad when I credit the wrong poster for starting a game thread or get a recruit's stats wrong. :)

Re: RPI Pick to Click - 2011-12

Woohoo! Diebold with the start! That being said, I think I'm still going to hedge this one.

RPI: Diebold
RIT: Madolora (will try to edit this close to game time if he's not starting).

Re: RPI Pick to Click - 2011-12

Nolan Desc... something (#2) is a scratch. I know that somebody has him as a pick. Hopefully you can see this before the game starts.

Re: RPI Pick to Click - 2011-12

For the 1st time ever (I think) I picked the opposing goalie and RPI wins. Therefore if RPI is to continue this winning streak, I will continue to pick "other" goalie, but I should get compensation points, taking one for the team, say the number of goals RPI scores in the win. :D:D

I honestly thought you were going to cash in... I was expecting a 0-0 tie.

Re: RPI Pick to Click - 2011-12

Woo hoo! RPI won a game! If the Engineers win the next one, we get to call it a winning streak!

Congratulations to GRussinko and RHamilton who won the week by picking Diebold (whose father and grandfather are really nice, by the way). This was GRussinko's fourth win of the season (all of them coming in the past five weeks). This win also vaults him into first place, eclipsing cnor by one point. Fun fact: GRussinko, Ralph, and cnor have all had their players score 24 PtC points. But, Ralph hasn't won any weeks and finds himself tied for third place as a result.

There were lots of zeroes on the board because there were only two eligible skaters who scored points (Higgs and Laliberte).

Oh, and also a hearty welcome to ibanezist00 (and potentially komey1). Stick around and have some fun!

Re: RPI Pick to Click - 2011-12

Link back to the title post with details on scoring

Rensselaer travels to the kitty-cat travel partners of the ECAC looking to break their even-strength goal-scoring drought.

Princeton comes back home after splitting in Denver while the Bobcats broke a 6-game winless streak by beating ZooMass at "The Bank."

After this week's game, the Engineers play Union in Lake Placid before they take some time off before the UConn Tournament. I'll post a reminder of how the scoring works for tournaments in this space in a couple weeks.

Good luck to all!

You may not choose the following players for this weekend:
Rensselaer:
F - Ryan Haggerty
D - Nick Bailen

Princeton:
F - Rob Kleebaum
D - Derrick Pallis

Quinnipiac:
F - Connor Jones
D - Loren Barron

Statistics / Rosters:
Rensselaer: Statistics | Roster
Princeton: Statistics | Roster
Quinnipiac: Statistics | Roster (beware of C. / K. Jones confusion)
