Greenlaw did this (26) for each of 3 periods. He was credited with 78 saves, but from someone who was there, I can tell you they missed perhaps 10-15 more. And BU hit the crossbar and posts at lest 5-6 times more. We had a lot of one sided losses that year (16-1 to Clarkson and i believe 14-0 to Northeastern for example) but that game was tilted downhill for all 3 periods. I would dare say that at least 10 of his saves were of the goal saving spectacular variety. From what i just watched, most are not spectacular to night but we have shown absolutely no ability to stop this one sided assault. The fact that the score is still 1-1 is miraculous and includes a full 2 minute 5 on 3 against us.
BTW unlike the BU team I saw in 1965-66, this OSU team is rather ordinary. So what does that say about us? We have a lot of work to do.
