RPI Offseason Thread: Six Languages of Drivel

Re: RPI Offseason Thread: Six Languages of Drivel

Just came across this on Twitter for RPI

Is this suppose to be a secret or did any season tix-holders get the memo?.... Regular Season Ticket Pick up party @ HFH 5:30-7:30pm; Tues; Sept 23. Meet members of the men's and women's hockey team https://twitter.com/RPI_HFH

There's a Union 'fan' over in their thread claiming that Appert is a jerk for quipping Clarkson. Apparently, he doesn't know how a rivalry works or understand what a joke is. I had a post in there kind of tearing him apart for it and saying I'm more sour on the Cornell men's diving team than anyone else -- and also that it's ironic that he claims RPI fans are obsessing over Union and talking in their thread, but yet here he is, reading the Poly's website -- but I deleted it because it's not worth my time anymore.

One out of two Clarkson fans got the joke http://www.letsgotech.com/roundtable/showthread.php?2289-2014-2015-Clarkson-Golden-Knights-Men. (See posts 33 and 34.)

Today is 23 September 2014. In honor of Alexa Gruschow, there are 11 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 4 October 2014 for the start of next season.

Ah, how bloated success makes one's mind. I will say, though, ever since they did get that, our trophy room has been smelling a lot nicer, because they no longer have to drool over our championships; note the plurality. :D

They need to take a look at their coach who hit another student athlete.

An article about hockey analytics with SA being one of the respondents.... "Plus-minus can't be everything. Players that play against others best players, it's harder to have a great plus-minus," said Appert, who said he started thinking about hockey analytics after his brother was drafted by baseball's Oakland A's, the team now well known for being the first to bring Sabermetrics in house....http://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2014/09/19_the_analytics_era.php

This might surprise some of you but I am in full agreement with Coach Appert.
