Re: RPI Offseason Thread: Six Languages of Drivel

It's more hockey related than you know. Harry is my brother. He is also a passionate RPI hockey fan. Regardless of where he was stationed he could be counted on to stream the audio (or video if the Internet connection was good enough) of almost every game. He would also trade his military uniform for a jersey and find his way back to HFH at least 1-2 times per year. From now on he'll just be watching the Engineers from a slightly higher seat.
82 - Sorry about your loss and proud to have a man like your brother representing RPI and our country. Just thought I would pass along that I was at Fenway on Saturday night to see their tribute to Gen. Greene. His children stood on top of the Red Sox dugout while the crowd showed their appreciation. Perhaps you were there. For me, that was one of the high points in what was otherwise a very long, drawn out and barely watchable game. Best wishes to you and your family.

Time to stuff the ballot boxes again. :D Vote that the RPI 84-85 vs BU 70-71 game on this thread http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?103607-Top-100-Greatest-Teams-of-the-NCAA-era-Tournament gets extended coverage. Either post there or send Fighting Sioux 23 an email. See the instructions in post 516 of that thread.

Voting ends at midnight EDT. The instruction post has been deleted but the current standings are in post 526.

Encourage everyone to donate to Seth Appert's marathon run to honor and remember Rich Curadi and support a great cause. Always proud of the RPI Hockey Family.

I probably still have T-shirts from that event. Back in the 90's, hams up in the area would provide communications during the race. Good to see the event is still going.

And hats off to Appert for doing this.
