In honor of Milos Bubela and Hannah Behounek, today is 18 September 2013. There are 17 days until RPI's next game.


This is based upon 5 October 2013 for the start of next season.

Hmm...maybe the thread won't lock at 1,000 posts this time and we can make it to the first game in this one. 17 more countdown posts leaves 20 more slots until the opener, though I noticed a thread in the cafe is now up to 1,054 posts.

Threads haven't been locking since the new version of vBulletin was installed at the time of the Syrian redirect at USCHO. The daemon that checks for threads reaching 1000 replies wasn't initiated. I suspect that it will be eventually since this has happened before.

Any suggestions for the regular season thread title? :)

The board recently went through an upgrade. When that happens, the automatic lock typically gets deleted (as it has happened a few times; I assume it's custom code), but Board will eventually fix that in I'd assume a few weeks. Might be best to have a thread title ready for when the season starts; not much reason to do a third off-season thread (and no, non-RPI posters, we're not slacking off; there just isn't anything to post).

BTW, assuming they went through with it, congratulations Jason and Stacey Kasdorf on your marriage.

We have had a pretty decent start-but we really will not have a good handle on this team for a couple more games. The LL games are all going to be tough this year-i don't think we can look past anyone. And of course looming later in the season is Hobart who has been the power of the league now for a few years. It would appear though, if we can kkep the games low scoring we may have a shot anytime with a kicker who can hit 5 for 5 on a given day and reach the uprights from 50 yards.

I guess I better check in a lot more often. I got an email that someone was trying to hack into my account -- or at the very least guess my password! Now that I'm employed full-time and done with school I'm definitely looking forward to attending the games more regularly! Literally counting down the days!!

Why would I hack into someone else's account when I have one that I can use, and I haven't been banned? ;) I'm not going to force people to read what I have to write on here. If they want to, cool. If they don't, cool.
