Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2012 Part II: (Insert Title Here)

Just in time for the 2012-2013 season....hopefully we wont have to wait a year before the 2013 freshman are added and this years seniors removed....

They didn't go into nearly as much detail as they have in the past.

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2012 Part II: (Insert Title Here)

They sent us home early. Only two pools were needed. The key is to get jury duty before a Holiday. :) I had it once the day before Labor Day or Memeorial Day and no pools were needed at all.

OTOH, the Fed Court will probably call me in a week.

I have been called a few times over the years but usually dismissed quickly once they find I am a physician. Mostly because either the judge or one of the attorneys have been patients of mine in the past.

Not that there is anything wrong with that but ... this was a rumor related to the breakup of his marriage when he was on the B's. It was debunked back in the 90's.

Please come back if you hear news of anything that wasn't disproved in the last century...

I see, I am not sure what the people I over heard it from were talking about. So not sure if they were referring to that time period or not. Just something I had heard so thought I would ask the question. Like I said before I don't care either way. More curious that if he is how it might affect his new position. Glad to see him still succeeding.

Stuff drives me nuts....the website is a recruiting tool...when a kid is considering a school that is recruiting him, he's sure as heck is gonna check out the website. The roster & bios need to be complete and updated....no excuse for it not to be. I'd volunteer to help, if anybody is listening

Today is 29 June 2012. There are 99 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 6 October for the start of next season.

That is the day that an exhibition game is supposedly scheduled.

I have been twice on trials in about ten times that I have been called for DC Superior Court. I was twice on duty in the Federal Court and never on a trial

I've been called a few times, but never seated. It might've had something to do with the NRA pin on my lapel. :D

Happy Birthday Mike Bergin! (or do I gotta take it to the alumni thread now?)

Happy Birthday RKarger! :)

Apparently Ryan Haggerty was a late addition to the NY Rangers' Development Camp! He scores a goal on Union's own Troy Grosenick at about 2:40 of this video.

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2012 Part II: (Insert Title Here)

It escaped my notice at the time, but RPI recently named an acting head football coach for the second time since the end of last season.

Bob Bodor has now replaced Guido Falbo, who resigned from RPI to take a job at Alderson-Broadus. Falbo had earlier been named acting head coach to replace last year's coach, Tim Landis.

Here's a link to RPIAthletics' report on the change.

Best of luck to Bodor and to the young men on RPI's football team this fall after this very strange off-season.

good catch lug. I've been checking the rosters for these camps (there's only about 6 teams currently playing). BTW, to make it easier, Haggs is #89 in white.....once I saw that & re-watched you notice him more making some plays.

Sarah's not on the forum but I read the Clarkson threads and pass on the information to her :) and thank you!

There are Clarkson threads on this forum? ;) Most are too good for this board and go to the Round Table, but some still post here.
